The case
Somebody built a website about pie charts and pinned it on John
The imposter has been up for months. justingreylabs.com — a fake Justin Gray, nothing but pie charts, wall to wall. Whoever built it left fingerprints in the source code, and every one of them points at John Saunders.
John swears it wasn't him. We believe him. Nobody else has come forward. So Saunders Lathe Works is doing what any reasonable shop would do about a crime it cannot solve: selling a shirt about a lathe.
Every dollar of profit bootstraps the John Saunders Exoneration Fund. The entire fund is donated to the charity chosen by whoever proves they did it — by transferring the domain to the real Justin Gray. That's the confession mechanism. That is the whole justice system here. The perpetrator gets found, and John's good name gets restored.
- Statute of limitations
- None. This is Ohio.
- How to confess
- Push the domain. Pick a charity.
Where your $35 goes
Deliberately not a pie chart. We wanted you to actually understand this information. These numbers are a guess. Actual results may vary as much as you'd expect when someone reads a pie chart.
Pre-order
"Real men make parts on a B-axis lathe" tee
Sizes S–3XL, and checkout, are onjustingraylabs.com — the shop that actually ships things. We're aiming to have them out by IMTS; the printer's date is September 10, 2026, and if we miss it you'll be offered a full refund. One print run, one chance. If the perpetrator confesses before the run ships, you get your shirt anyway — the joke will simply be over.
Pre-orders are closed
The print run is with the printer. If you ordered, your shirt goes out as soon as the run lands — we're still trying for IMTS — and you'll get tracking by email. If you didn't, you'll have to admire the others from a distance at IMTS.
